Body-Work & Energetic Work helos you cultivate a deeper sense of connection to your body after being numb or disconnected and allowing yourself to give voice and movement to supressed emotions, hurt, rage, and tension.
This process can be uncomfortable at times with resistance arising, but ultimately it leads to a sense of release and liberation as we awaken our sacred power
Beneath all of this debris, distortions, and numbness, and through all of the clearing work, lies the spirit of our true nature, our sacred power, and our sensuality that gets awakened through our system.
It is Tornés hope to help people all over the world move from a tense, contracted, and disconnected state to a state of empowerment, expression, and sensuality.
Do I need to do anything to prepare before my appointment?
The session will either be online or in person.
Ensure you feel safe and comfortable expressing emotions and feelings. Have charged headphones if you desire to use them if your session is online. The most important thing for me is that you feel safe and comfortable. Be in comfortable clothing to move.
Avoid any stimulants, i.e., caffeine, before the session. We want to create space for the body to go on a healing journey unhindered by any outside stimuli putting the body into an alert/wired state.
Eat lightly before; an empty stomach is best- you don't want to be using your energy digesting food.
Come with an open mind and heart to what may come up for you in the session. Be present, allow the energy to flow, surrender to it all, and be open to a new experience with no expectations.
Who is the right type of person to come for a session?
The ideal person for this work is ready to take full responsibility for their healing. You understand that healing must be through the body, and once we quieten the mind, we can listen to the body.
You know that I guide you to heal yourself, and you are ready to feel uncomfortable feelings/emotions to process and release them from the energetic system and the body.
This is for the person who doesnt get defensive when someone is reflecting back to you what they have noticed from the session. You are committed to moving out of your comfort zone while being held in a space of love and safety without judgment.
You are aware that if you have not done somatic work before, the first session can often be for becoming familiar with connecting to the body and getting acquainted with the process of releasing.
If you are willing to stay present and conscious of your body throughout your sessions, work through resistance, and surrender to the process, you will have a powerful experience in the sessions.
Ultimately it is you who are healing yourself. With Torne's guidance, you will activately engage in your healing process.
What happens in a session?
Emotional Release and Energy Activation sessions are different.
Sessions are 90 minutes long.
On meeting with Torne, she will discuss the issue that brought you to see her. It may be the most pressing or challenging issue or worry.
With Torne's guidance, you will actively engage in your healing process. She often takes notes from the initial part of the session only if Emotional Freedom Technique is used.
In a session, we emotionally release old stagnant bound-up energy from the body through sound, movement, and breath.
If a person is more numb or out of connection with their body, she may start the session with Meridian Tapping for the person to feel their feelings first before the somatic releasing, which can be done seated or lying down.
Loud music gets played to evoke emotions. During the session, we liberate all stagnant emotions by activating the fullness of your voice so the bound-up energy moves out of your system.
Sessions are more active than gentle. Its deep diving deep work and doing the often uncomfortable work of looking at the parts of ourselves we have deemed unlovable, unworthy, or have linked to shame or guilt. Sessions involve crying, moving through resistance, or emotions that want expression and movement. Sessions are a safe space to express and it's normal for me to witness this somatic releasing.
Somatic Emotional Release focuses on releasing energy bound up and trapped in the physical body. The body then begins to let go of and release in the form of sound, movement, vibration, crying, laughter, or trembling.
All healing sessions are different and unique, and Torne will change each session according to your needs.
We are using a combination of energy work, breath work, and bodywork. Our body holds on to old trauma and suppressed emotions as bound-up energy putting us in a tense state.
When we breathe and move, we can release it from our energetic and physical system and return to an empowered state where we feel connected back to the body after disconnect.
To assist you in releasing the trapped energy, her hands are drawn to the areas of your body where you are holding/suppressing these long-held emotions from the past.
These may be meridian/energy center or acupressure points that get held or tapped on. Torne will often say out loud what may be bound up in the body or what you mentioned to her was the issue as she presses on specific points.
Each session differs depending on the person's willingness to feel uncomfortable feelings and allow them to be expressed and moved through the body. Ultimately it is you who are healing yourself.
By allowing yourself to express and release emotions and bound-up energy in the body, it will enable you to release unprocessed emotions and complete trauma cycles so you move out of a pattern that makes us feel stuck.
Your session concludes with an integration period to process what's been released and connect to a new sense of space in the body.
Why do some people feel little or nothing in an energetic activation + somatic release session? Why do some people move more?
Why do some people feel little or nothing in an energetic activation + somatic release session? Why do some people move more?
Every client is different, and every session for each client is different. How the body unwinds is unique to the person, and everyone holds trauma differently. If the person has taken part in alot of somatic work or energy work before, they may move more.
It depends on how safe someone feels around others to express and process. The safer they feel, the deeper they can go as the nervous system is more in the ventral state.
The longer someone has been in a tense state, the longer it can take for someone to be willing to unwind
Energy becomes bound in the body, causing tension and a sense of heaviness or stuckness in the body that’s become familiar
Some people find it difficult to let go of the armor, which keeps them feeling protected against any threats to their safety. Maybe they have suppressed and dissociated for a long time and may feel almost naked in the session and vulnerable. They may be worried about what’s on the other side of letting go of control. For many constantly living in a state of fight or flight, they may not be willing to let go of the tension just yet.
Others may have suppressed the energy linked to overwhelming events to a great degree with trauma that has frozen their body in that stressful + traumatic event
For some, connecting to their body comes with worry as it can bring up memories and feelings that they have dissociated from
Somatic Release is all about the present moment and connecting back to the body. For some they can worry if they are doing it right or wrong, there could have been rejected as a child if they got something wrong so there’s a feeling of unsafety linked to expressing so the client may stay tense
________________________
It’s the clients willingness to surrender and to connect back to their body - moving out of the mind.
Clients who have had previous energy work, breathwork, or somatic/energy work can feel energy sooner than others. Others need a session to get familiar with connecting to their body.
Some need more time to feel safe to feel
Some may need time to feel around another to heal, as someone in the past has caused them to feel unsafe

Does this approach involve physical contact?
In-person sessions with Torné can involve some physical contact. In an in-person session, we work with the body and the energy field around the body. There is a combination of meridian tapping, acupressure, or pressing on chakra points. Her hands are drawn to the areas of your body where you are holding/suppressing emotions from the past. At some points of the session, there will be close proximity, and at other times I may create distance.
How many appointments should I have/ How often do I need this?
Its recommended to commit to at least 3 sessions, to begin with, to work through numbness, armor and to allow yourself to go deeper to heal.
Every single person is on their own unique healing journey, and every session is different, much like a yoga or meditation practice. In each session, the client will process different emotions and memories held in the body with each session.
You are the one who dictates the pace of your journey; there is no right or wrong pace to heal. The more you allow yourself to express, release and feel, the more you will uncover and find freedom from limitations, tension, and worry.
Loops of patterns can keep coming up until we dissolve them & work them through the body. Issues have different branches, like a tree. A tree has a branch, roots & leaves, and all parts hold aspects of the main issue/fear.
When we clear out the emotions, the thoughts start to change. The branches start to change shape. Then our beliefs start to change also. Which connects to the trunk, which is the main emotion you are working on. We tap into different aspects to define what the belief is and what are the emotions & thoughts that are connected to it stored in the nervous system, organs, and energetic system of the body.
In order to heal an issue completely, we must understand what all the different aspects are so that we can bring our love and attention to them. In understanding aspects, we see the situation as a whole, all of the different emotions, beliefs, memories, thoughts, fears, and concerns connected
to the one issue. We must be able to break it down completely in order to clear the charge completely. This can happen over multiple sessions.
There is no race or finish line. We are on a unique healing path and will flourish in our own time and pace. You can't rush the release of something until it's ready. We can't "Let it go" until we are ready to let it in. for some, a few sessions are first needed to drop into the body.
Book in when you are ready to experience the activation/release, and allow time for integration after the sessions, which is very important.
What modality of healing does Torné do?
Torne combines meridian tapping, acupressure, somatic releasing practices, breathwork, and life force energy activation for you to process, release, express, and heal. This is not a breathwork session solely, and each session is different. You will activate the fullness of your voice express old hurt and suppressed emotions and connect to your body after being in the 'monkey mind' of thinking.
How does avoidance show up in the body with this work?
The longer someone has been in a tense state, the longer it can take for someone to be willing to unwind. Energy becomes bound in the body, causing tension and a sense of heaviness or stuckness in the body that’s become familiar.
The body tenses up in the fight-or-flight state. Some people may find it difficult to let go of the armor, which keeps them feeling protected against any threats to their safety. Maybe they have suppressed and dissociated for a long time and may feel almost naked in the session and vulnerable.
They may be worried about what’s on the other side of letting go of control. When we are in this state, our breathing is shallow. Sometimes the hands won’t fully open, the feet may close in, and the jaw may be clenched. If it isn’t processed, it will store in the body with a breath style or a posture or slouched shoulders to be smaller.
You can't rush the release of something until it's ready. We can't "Let it go" until we are ready to let it in. for some, a few sessions are first needed to drop into the body.
This process can be uncomfortable at times with resistance arising, but ultimately it leads to a sense of release and liberation as we awaken our sacred power
Why is integration so important?
There may be emotional shedding after somatic and energetic work. This is the process of processing repressed emotions as the body has found safety to feel and release. When we create safety in the body by moving out of the sympathetic nervous system, the body can now connect to suppressed emotions.
It's 10% what happens on the mat, and then there's integration - after the willingness to open up even 1% and to be in the energy, people notice how they feel changes.
Integration is an essential step in any healing practice after any kind of emotional release work. It's essential to take this time to bring awareness to the changes you are creating. Journaling, meditating, or walking in nature can be a beautiful way to integrate the experience.
Healing is not only in this session; it's also catching certain thought patterns, being kind to yourself, and letting them go time and time again.
Be mindful of what you begin consuming; this includes the food you eat, what you drink, the music you listen to, and the kind of conversations you engage in. Think nurturing. It's your responsibility to nurture yourself after a session.
You can either drink five glasses of wine and watch 10 hours of series or slow down, be with yourself, and disconnect from social media.
This is a powerful quote I found online - "Your whole life will be a series of healing. That's how it works. You live, you uncover a layer, you are asked to go deeper, and you sink into a part of you that feels even more true than the person you were a year, a month, a week, a minute before. In many ways, it's about shedding. Shedding what holds you back from experiencing your life as it's happening."
What do you mean by life-force energy and activating the fullness of your voice?
Are sessions recorded?
There are NO recordings in the online group or in-person healing space from me or the participants. The footage on Instagram is taken during planned video shoots that are free of charge. Any session with payment is a private sacred healing space.
The sessions are to be attended live. If you are in a different time zone please use the time converter below to ensure the session time will work for you and you can attend live https://dateful.com/time-zone-converter
what does it mean to awaken my sensuality?
Sensuality is the basis of how we experience our bodies, other bodies, and the world around us.
After years of suppressing your emotions and your sensuality, you may have become disconnected from your own body, living in the mind causing self-judgment and feeling tense.
Sensuality doesn’t mean sex. Sensuality is being in the body and rediscovering what it feels like to be connected to your body without shame or numbness. Sensuality brings you back into your body and mind.
When we are in a tense contracted state, we won’t feel confident and sensual and it will affect our self-esteem.
Sensuality opens you up to being present and aware of sensations and your body. To embody sensuality is to live life sensually. Because you have found safety and worthiness in yourself, you can find pleasure from all senses in anything that you do. You trust yourself to intuitively allow what is pleasurable, and no longer resist it.
We liberate these suppressed emotions to access a deeper level of sensuality and sacred power. Once you feel embodied, you create space for your feelings and emotions to come to the surface.
