Have you ever done a once-off session feeling after there was more to release, or you wanted support after with emotions and feelings that arose?
The process of healing and transforming is more than a 90-minute session. The integration after/during is 90% of the work. It's expressing and moving through discomfort and resistance in each session.
There is no more important work than your devotion to your inner work, which comes with your practice and self-awareness. You have to do this work on your own, but you dont have to do it alone. You can heal in a safe container without judgment as you release conditioning and trauma that's being stored in the body.
When we have numbed our feelings and have armour protecting us from connecting to the body, it can take a few sessions to allow ourselves to feel again. This is a process of unwinding, removing the protection layers and working through resistance that may arise.
This is a process and journey of reconnecting to your body and reclaiming your power after silencing your voice and not feeling empowered.
Tension and blockages in the body are bound-up energy that isn't moving freely, putting us in a fight/flight state where we feel stuck or disconnected from our body. We need to give ourselves time to be activated and then to integrate in between sessions. You will uncover a layer. You will shed a layer and unravel through our time together. Healing isn't done in one session, so to be supported, held, and guided over a longer period is where the power lies in a container of safety and support for you to explore and express your emotions.
In order to heal an issue completely, we must understand what all the different aspects are so that we can bring our love and attention to them. In understanding aspects, we see the situation as a whole, all of the different emotions, beliefs, memories, thoughts, fears, and concerns connected to the one issue.
We must be able to break it down completely in order to clear the charge completely. This can happen over many sessions.
Loops of patterns can keep coming up until we dissolve them & work them through the body. Issues have different branches, like a tree. A tree has a branch, roots & leaves, and all parts hold aspects of the main issue/fear.
When we clear out the emotions, the thoughts start to change. The branches start to change shape. Then our beliefs start to change also. Which connects to the trunk, which is the main emotion you are working on. We tap into different aspects to define what the belief is and what are the emotions & thoughts that are connected to it stored in the nervous system, organs, and energetic system of the body.
With healing, it's so important to be held by someone and for someone to notice your blind spots.
Every session, something new will be felt or released, and work will be done to work past resistance and armor of protection. After our time together, the work doesnt end, but you will know how to hold space for yourself and to be embodied in your own healing journey.
